My name is Dan and I`m an experienced teacher who teaches electric guitar, acoustic guitar and ukulele. I have been gigging and teaching for years and have played some of the best venues around the Midlands learning a huge amount along the way.
This knowledge took many years to acquire and these days I love to pass on this knowledge to my wonderful students. Playing guitar and teaching it is incredible and I am very lucky to be able to do both.
A little bit about me…
- I teach guitar from my home in Cradley Heath, West Midlands as well as doing online lessons via Skype.
- I`ve been playing guitar for 12 years, and when I started out I was rubbish! Thankfully, with some good advice, patience and inspiration I improved rapidly. Everyone can learn to play guitar!
- Rock, metal, alternative and prog are what I specialise in although, as my band and influences vary wildly, I love to play and teach various other styles too such as acoustic, reggae, pop, folk and indie.
- My favourite bands are Foo Fighters, The Beatles, Karnivool, A Perfect Circle and Incubus. (Check them out for amazing guitar playing!)
- I`ve recently fell in love with the ukulele and have started teaching it. Compared to guitar it is much easier to learn.

I absolutely love to teach and help people get to where they want to be with their guitar playing. Learning guitar is a journey that takes time, patience and commitment. It took me a while as it takes everyone, but I have learned so much along the way, especially as a tutor, that can help you improve quickly and in a fun way.
